There was some kind of plastic film on the door when I picked it up from your dealer. Why is it there and am I supposed to remove it?

a) A year after my Steel-Craft door was installed, I painted it a dark colour to match my house. My garage faces directly into the sun and now the door appears to bow outwards when the sun shines directly on it during the day. The bowing goes away in the evening. What's happening, and will this bowing hurt the door? Should I install additional bracing onto the door to correct this problem?

b) I live in a northern community that becomes very cold in the winter. I've noticed my garage door bows inward whenever I turn the heat on in the garage. What's causing this and what can I do about it?

I've seen the Steelcraft name on 3' x 7' walk thru type doors. Do you manufacture this type of door door?

What's the difference between torsion springs and extension springs?
